Strength...

...to make it through a day of work when I was at a low point. I worked in the Lower Learning Center today since Angie Spangler broke her ankle and was unable to be there. I had gotten messed up on my cream which resulted in me being dead tired with bad nerves after 2 months of little or no problems. All that made me have to heavily rely on God and there is no doubt He helped me.

God Knowing Best

Today is Kerrigan's 7th birthday. I didn't realize when they scheduled my induction that it was the anniversary of the day Janae (3 weeks old) stopped breathing starting all the turmoil in our lives. Had I realized it, I would have asked for another date or been petrified (as if I wasn't already!) But a few weeks later I kept mulling that date over in my head thinking that it sounded awfully familiar. Then the realization dawned. And just like that, God spoke to me and said, "See? I can take something bad (a bad memory) and turn it to good (a day you will celebrate!)" And He has...over and over and over again.

Heated Vehicles

Both, our van and car, are being worked on because the heat was not working properly. I choose today to be thankful that we CAN have heat once everything is repaired. Driving home from school yesterday in the cold was not a treat :)

Self-motivated kids

At least when it comes to school work.  Tony and I cannot complain about their performance and especially the fact that we don’t have to stay on them to get it done.  They might be lax in other areas, but this is one area we have to step back and say we have had it pretty easy so far!

...Faithful Friends

Who are willing to pray in earnest for needs absent or evasive of details.  God has blessed me many times over with the ladies on my women’s email group.

...that God sees Masterpiece

When I might only see the bumps in the canvas.  He knows exactly what I am going to need months in advance.  I saw today, possibly for the very first time ever, how even though God hates the circumstances that I might have to go through, He plans little things along the way to place people in my life for a specific purpose.  I saw a glimpse of the big picture and stand back in awe!  I hadn’t been able to understand why I had to work the last couple years when Kerrigan wasn’t in school…that wasn’t my plan.  And things that I perceived to be irritating at the time, God used to build a relationship that I suddenly needed to be already in place for a situation I faced recently.  What an awesome God I serve!

Energy

given when you most need.  I love that God planned for us to have children in our younger years!!  (I’m babysitting a 2 yr old today)
