Rowdy Kids

...because at least it means they are healthy.

Homeowner's Insurance...

…because at least if we lost everything, we wouldn’t have to start over with nothing.  (There was a fire in town this week and rumor has it that the family had no insurance.  My heart goes out to them.  And I am thankful for things that seemingly “cost” us…just another bill to pay.  But what it could mean in a circumstance like this that you never expect…)

Freedom...

…and flexibility to make my own decisions and do as I please.  No one dictating my comings and goings.  Other individuals and countries aren’t this fortunate.

Declining Gas Prices...

Time to Relax...

…and rest up from traveling. I didn’t have anything pressing to do today and that was a wonderful break.

Living in Indiana...

....only 5.5 hours from Dad. Not 11+ like Barb. When my trip is ending, hers is only halfway begun! I am also thankful that with as mant trips as we've taken lately, the trip is actually seeming shorter rather than longer-a big plus with three younguns.

A Husband Who Loves Me...

...and who has not given me any reason to doubt that love or to distrust him or feel insecure in our relationship. Thank you, Hon!

Each Breath I Take...

...and for the ability to sing with abandon and not be hindered by inadequate lung capacity. My father is not so fortunate (even if he did sing heartily during song service today and went on to sing his sermon rather than preach it :) But it exhausted him so, that he skipped lunch and went straight to his nap.)

Family Gatherings...

...because I know that there are people there who will accept me as I am, no questions asked.

A home...

....that is a mansion compared to living on the street. Also for a husband who has brains and determination to succeed in his career.
